Maker

After arriving in the Netherlands I studied for a master’s in artistic research. For a few years I tested artist spatial practices – installations and interactions – attempting to create a sensory channel of communication with being and belonging.

Water and Earth problems

Moving far from home, some people never quite settle. My qi gong teacher once told me this is “water and earth problems”. The water and earth of their original home is disconnected from where they are now. A landscape is carried in the body it shaped, and doesn’t reconcile with the new surroundings.
